After months of traveling and being in Toronto - I am so ready to head back to sunny California. Winter for me is coming to an end, so I wanted to put together my last layers of cozy chic items before I head back to warm sunny LA!

I fell in love with Cartagena

 Just one week ago I returned from one of the best trips of my life. 

 If there was one word to describe Cartagena, Colombia it would be Magical. I have been around the world and back, but there was just something about this city that captured my heart.  Unfortunately for most - Colombia holds a dark stigma due to the countries long history of violence and crime. Never once did I feel in danger or threatened by any means, quite the complete opposite actually!

After a sleepless red eye flight we arrived to our villa which was centrally located within the " old walled city " This little town not only holds so much history , but so much character and charm at the same time with all the colorful architecture and bougainvillea flowers overflowing on balconies..... every bloggers dream - there was not one corner that was not photogenic!

 The Maaji house was like walking into a dream.  The villa was incredibly beautiful,  never have I seen houses designed this way where the pool was situated in the courtyard of the house with surrounding lounge areas, a beautiful dining area kitchen , bedrooms on the second floor, and Incredible rooftop for all day - I was ready to spend the next 5 days here!

Restaurants to try : 

Don Juan- A mix of Caribbean an Latin - Vegetarian friendly, fresh local fish and seafood . I recommend the octopus, falafel , ceviche and sea bass was to die for !

Mistura - Had the most incredible atmosphere and to my taste buds the most incredible sushi selection. I am not one for deserts usually because I can't eat dairy , but I let it go this time with the Suspiro Limeño. 


Nightclubs -  La Movida - was too much fun we ended up here two nights in a row ! everyone dances in Colombia it truly is so uplifting .

Probably one of the most memorable moments of the trip was the day we spent on the Island Baru. Doing absolutely nothing but taking in the beauty of the white sandy beach and turquoise waters. Believe it or not we had the entire beach to ourselves ! Maaji had an entire set up for up with giant pillows, bamboo beds and tequila shots of course !

TGIF!!!! which means its time for a fresh new blog post to recap my crazy weekend at Coachella! Believe it or not .. I am going back for weekend two today so please pray for me! 

This will be my 5th Coachella ... crazy to think about it ! There is nothing more exciting makes you feel like a kid again with absolutely no worries and or stress on your mind. The energy and life you get from the 100,000s of people, food, music and art really gets to your soul. Some of my favorite acts this year were Future , Steve Angello and Majid Jordan ( who is from my hometown Toronto ) his music has incredible vibes and easy to the ears! You've got to check him out :)

I was so happy to showcase GUESS new line of sunnies which consist of colorful retro, round, cat eye and oxford style frames that I rocked all weekend long! Lets be real, Sunglasses are the NUMBER ONE essential to bring along with you to a festival. Their "Eyecandy" Collection is to die for! My favorite style frames were the Round mirrored lenses that paired up with just about every outfit they are so fun and flirty perfect for frolicking around the polo fields, not to mention incredibly light weight on the face.

  Guess was incredibly sweet to put us up in the cutest modern house in Palm Springs filled with Guess goodies and oh ! my favorite pool floats. I got to share the house with some of my favorite bloggers and dear  friends of mine Gregory Dava, Jill Wallace and Jessy Malay - the perfect pad to create some ever lasting memories!

Hi guys, I'm back in LA and recovering from three weekends in a row of festivals! I had an incredible time with all my friends, amazing performances by my favorite musicians and the food was soo good. Seeing everyone rocking their own style however was my favorite part by far.
This year I wanted to add a bit of an edge to my outfits, by combining them with sturdy boots and stylish belts and shying away from the classic bohemian style. Check out my outfits below!

The Best Beaches I Have Ever Seen

Summer is here and if you haven't yet - it's seriously time to plan your vacation!

I am currently planning my Europe trip right now and I am so so excited - London , Barcelona , Ibiza, Mykonos and Croatia are on the list!

There's many places and cities to explore but nothing beats paradise beaches that will make your summer 2017 truly unforgettable. In the past years I have been blessed to have made these experiences and I am excited to share them with you!

1. Varadero, Cuba

Varadero is the largest resort in the Caribbean, it is truly impressive with over 60 hotels and a 20 km long Hicacos peninsula. It is also only a 2 hour drive to Havana, the colorful home of vintage cars and cigars.


2. Isla Baru, Colombia

Isla Baru is the kind of landscape you want to put on as your screensaver: The water is a light bright turquoise, the sky is blue and the sand is warm and white. It's pure paradise and I can't wait to go back!


3. Positano Beach, Italy

Positano is an enchanting cliffside village, a true dream place with its pastel colored houses.
It is also a great base for exploring Italy, only a boat travel away from Capri, Ischia and the Grotta dello Smeraldo cave.


4. Maya Bay, Ko Phi Phi, Thailand

The beaches of Thailand demonstrate the tropical paradises of the far east.
Maya Bay is the stunning beach cove that served as the setting of the film The Beach.
It is by no means unchartered territory or secluded and great to make new friends from all over the world.



5. Formentera, Ibiza

Formentera is the smallest of Spain's Balearic islands and a true getaway. It is reachable by ferry from Ibiza and is great for a day-trip in the summertime.

Wow where has the year gone? July has come a heck of a lot sooner than expected! 

What greater way to bring in the summer season than exploring beautiful Los Angeles with Farfetch.  For those of you who don't know Farfetch is an amazing online luxury retailer you must absolutely check out!

We started the day off right ... Shopping ! Loit is a brand new clothing boutique that just opened up Downtown LA filled with designers pieces to die for ! I snagged these amazing Isabel Marantplatform sandals that I will be rocking all summer long in Europe!

Second stop of the day was The Rosy oyster at the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel. a cute little restaurant tucked away at the back of the hotel near the pool area. I was taken back at how Instagram worthy this place was! we snapped a bunch of photos while snacking on the freshest seafood you could ever taste, and oh ! not to mention we got our ears pierced . Extremely terrified , but was supper happy how it turned out !

Following the hotel we visited the Marciano Art Foundation for a private viewing of the gallery. For those of you who are into Art, there some impeccable of one - of -a -kind pieces that are just extremely captivating to the eye.

Last but not leas we finished the night off  at the one and only Mama Shelter Hotel. What an amazing evening spent with some of my best blogger friends. Epic sunsets, live music, delicious foods and laughter throughout!

The kick off to Summer 17 couldn't have been any better. Last Thursday I headed to the big apple with my bestie Jill and the Revolve fam! After a long red eye flight we checked into the Knickerbocker hotel right in the heart of times square! Highly recommended hotel , insanely cute and trendy! We headed out for the night for the FWRD Man event where we danced the night away to endless amounts of throwback and even Cameron preformed!

The next morning we departed for the Hamptons , man the traffic in NYC is insane. We did however make a necessary pit stop at shake shack though - which held us back a bit. 

After a long 6 hours we ended up in Bridgehampton . The Two houses were absolutely incredible they were enormous and brand new not to mention every corner was an instagram photo opp!

The team welcomed us to an incredible dinner cooked by the amazing chef that they hired for the weekend featuring The L'Acadime Brand. Shortly after dinner we changed into our Pjs and gathered into the family room for a very professional organized game night that consisted of Sculptionary, charades and Family Fued. I was definitely on the loosing teams each time ! lol

We woke up bright and early Saturday morning for a session of yoga on the tennis court featuring Adidas x Stella Mcartney. We definitely did alot of shooting in between.  form about 1-4 the team set up the cutest lunch outside where we shopped some really cute brands !

We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and shooting photos by the pool. We were going to head into town, but because we had such a big night ahead we just ordered in !

The revolve club was set up so perfectly inside the the basement of the house and hosted by One Oak! All of the babes were dressed up in H.ours and we danced the night away with endless amounts of tequila. oh and the best party of the night was when we jumped into the pool in all of our clothing! 

Sunday was not easy for me. the hangover was definitely real! We headed to Montauk for a beach day in Lovers + Friends. 

Thank you so much Revolve for an epic weekend that I will never forget !

Summer Seventeen : Ibiza

 2017 is the year for travel, for me at least! Never have I  had the itch so badly. If you have been following me on Instagram you will know that Europe is where I spent most of my time these last few months.

After the most epic weekend in the Hamptons with Revolve I headed straight to Spain to the biggest Party island in the world, Ibiza.

This was my third time to this magical island, Although I got to experience it a completely different way this time around.

I Spent about 3 days of the week at a friends Villa then moved to the Nobu Ibiza Bay Hotel. The Hotel was so beautiful, the rooms were extremely well decorated and big , not to mention in the most perfect location.
 There was a few cons however. Over priced, the staff wasn't the most helpful especially on the marketing and reservations side.

One of the most memorable days was spent on our friends yacht boating to Formentera. Which was a short 40 min ride. We anchored up and headed to lunch at the beach for some seafood paella.

Here is a list of a few of my favourite spots and the must see must do :

Passion Cafe - The most EPIC organic lunch spot in central Playa den Bossa. ( I could eat here everyday ) They are most known for there juices and smoothies. They offer vegetarian, Vegan , macrobiotic bowls, but also fish and poultry. Very good place to cure a hangover ;) MUST GO

Fish Shack - If you want to watch the most amazing sunset while having some local beer and Fresh Fish, this is a great local secret spot.

Cipriani - High end Italian Cuisine. If you want to break the bank a little for an authentic Italian Dinner, then this is the place!

Lio- The most entertaining cabaret dinner spot right on the marina in front of the super yachts. Great for a big group dinner. Not going to lie it kinda feels like you are at a super fun wedding!

Minami- Japanese Restaurant in Ushuaia Hotel - Very good, but again over priced!

Nightclubs- Ushuaia, Hi Ibiza, Amnesia, Pacha, DC 10, The Cave

Juan Y Andrea- Fine cuisine located in the heart of formentera right on blue bay, with amazing views of the Mediterranean sea.

We Unfortunately didn't make it to the old town this time around but you must go and walk around, the best time is after 3pm when its not too hot!

Hope you guys can get to visit this magical place at some point. Highly recommended to visit in July and August

Besos Barcelona

The rumours are true. Barcelona is the most romantic city in the world with the best food! It was a first for me and Jill and we absolutely loved it. 3 nights was perfection.

We were so happy with our hotel choice. I highly recommend the Grand Hotel Central. The property was in an incredible location walking distance to everything, and very affordable. Not to mention the rooftop overlooks spectacular views of the city as seen in the last photo that was taken at sunrise.

We rented electrical Bikes to cruise around the city to see the cathedral, gothic quarter, and the most famous las Rambas shortly after we made a pit stop into the market for some fresh fruits. If you followed my Instagram stories at the time , you will see that snap chatting and bike riding is not a good combination. The bigger bike fall of all time. Ended up with a brush the size of a tennis ball for a few weeks, but non the less I was ok!

 Teleferic - THE BEST TAPAS - Situated in El Born by the gothic quarter. Fresh tapas selections and the mot incredible Gin Sangria! I don't like Gin but this drink is to die for!

Dr. Stravinsky - This little hidden gem is a perfect place to go for the best mixology experience. Definitely a little Hidden Gem.

Sagrada Familia - This monumental unfinished church is set to be finished in 2024. Words can't describe how beautiful and eccentric this building is. Do not miss out on this. 

Soho House Rooftop-  little afternoon snack and have some downtime, The Soho house is the greatest chill spot. If you have a membership and or know someone with a soho house membership this club is a must go to. The rooftop overlooks the water and marina. They have endless amounts of candy and the Iberian ham was my favourite appetizer. dish ;)

Who knew I would end up back in the city just a month later ... I will dedicate another post to that trip so stay tuned!

L'oreal Evercreme saved my life!

This week I wanted to share something a little personal with you guys, which I never usually do, but hopefully some of you can relate. Earlier this year was extremely tough for me, physically and emotionally. I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata. For those of you who don’t know, it is an autoimmune disease and a type of hair loss that mistakenly attacks your hair follicles. Seeing that my job is to be in front of the camera constantly, my confidence was at an all time low. I didn't want to take photos, as the look and feel of my hair was nothing like I was used to.

Luckily enough the patches of hair that was lost were underneath my head just below my neck hair line. Alopecia cannot be cured, but can definitely be treated, and my hair is finally starting to grow back - slowly but surely! I tried almost everything and anything from steroid shots, oils, creams and hair treatments. What I really needed was to find a really amazing product to use on a weekly basis that was gentle on my scalp and delicate hair.
