My style is pretty classic...I love dressing simple, but also like to explore and take risks and spice it up with some boho chic looks! Last weekend Shop Vandervort and I collaborated on a very special summer look book series. We wanted to give off a very natural beachy carefree vibe.
We shot about 5 looks in total, but am completely obsessed with the two looks featured above! if you follow me on Instagram I have been featuring a TON of swimwear , well , because its that time of year!
Creating a soft natural day time look is more simple thank you think! I love to keep my makeup natural and fresh. Less is ALWAYS more!
I have created a customizable eyeshadow palette using a mix of gold and neutrals from BUXOM eyeshadow bar!
Form left to right the colors I chose are: Invite only, matte terra cotta, golden brass, matte vanilla, metallic taupe and shimmering frost
My secret to soft even application is to apply tinted moisturizer type of foundation all over the face using my hands! Buxom weightless foundation is skin pampering and delivers breathable coverage that increases hydration and brightens the skin lasting up to 8 hours! I absolutely love it! follow with " Intoxicate" blush.
For my base and my inner eye I brushed shimmering frost gently around to give my eyes that brightening effect. Next I used a combination of invite only and matte terra-cotta in the crease, and a dash of golden brass to add a little bit of glow! secret tip: lightly brush shimmering frost under your brow to create the perfect arch! Each shadow includes a primer base to lock in the color all day long!

I finally found the perfect style from Twenty Tees that I can casually wear around LA to run errands and lounge around with one of my dear photog friends... the amazing Samuel. This dress really captures the easy breezy laid back lifestyle Ive always dreamed of having living in LA :)....Don't get me wrong sometimes things are always a lot harder than they seem ;)

I am sooo excited to share with you all the most luxurious facial by Oro Gold Cosmeticsthat left my skin hydrated and glowing for days after! I cannot stress enough how important it is for everyone to take care of their skin especially in the summer time when it is needed the most.
Prior to receiving the facial my specialist quickly briefed me on specific skin concerns that she thought I might have. She thoroughly inspected my skin under a magnifying glass with a bright light. Overall my skin was is good shape except for certain areas of dehydration along with black heads on my nose and cheeks. I really wanted to bring out all the fall colors when it came to putting this look together. The change in maple trees , back home in Canada of course..... was definitely my biggest inspiration.
It definitely is extremely hard to get the full fall feel in California, but late afternoons is the perfect time to throw on a sweater over a cute little romper, and of course topping it off with my go to booties from Indigo Rd.
I definitely would have to say that dressing up like a cowgirl is not my thing, but the current 70's trend is so on point that i could not steer clear!

What do you think? Very sparkly yet so 70's, but I think it suits the occasion!
For a more casual look I decided to be a little risky and bring out my wild LEO side with this faux fur multicolored number. Statement coats are a must, and thought this one was the perfect fit to add to my wardrobe!
